Description
Each ml contains: Adenosine 5 Monophosphate 200mg, Sodium Chloride 0.9%, Benzyl Alcohol 2.0%, Water q.s. to 1.0ml.
Common uses
Indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of or management of acute or chronic fatigue and in the management of stress or prolonged exertion. Some work has been reported showing the usefulness of AMP in the treatment of Bursitis, Tendenitis, Phlebothrombosis, Thromeophlebitis and Pruritis.
Contraindications
Recent infractions of large areas of Muscle Trauma or Fresh Hematomas. Occasionally Local Erythema, Transient Diarrhea and Diuresis may be observed. This drug must not be used on dairy animals used as food by man since no milk or tissue residue studies have been conducted on this drug to date.
Dosage
Horses: 10ml 3-4 hours before competition.
