Description
Active ingredient: Efalizumab 125 mg Excipients: polysorbate 20, L-histidine, chlorhydrate of L-histidine monohydrated, saccharose. Solvent: water for injectable preparations The reconstitution with the solvent allows to obtain a solution containing 100 mg of efalizumab for each ml Every prefilled syringe contains 1,3 ml of solvent
Common uses
Raptiva is indicated for the treatment of adult patients (18 years or older) with chronic moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototerapy.
Contraindications
Raptiva should not be administered: - to patients with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient Efalizumab or any of its components; - to patients with malignancy; - to patients with clinically important infections.
Dosage
A treatment with this medicament must be done under the oversight of a specialist having the experience in systemic and immunomodulator treatments of psoriasis.
